Shamrocks and Monkey Towels

Brody has had a great week. He went to school on Tuesday and had his face painted for St. Patrick's Day and has a wonderful time participating in art projects and singing time. He loves school...yippee...I'll take it as long as I can. Maybe he'll be a nerd like me and actually love school all the way through.

As much as he loves school though, there's nothing like coming home, winding down and having a bath at night. His favorite, especially when he gets to cuddle up in his monkey towel when he's done. I actually have to peel the towel off of him to get him in PJ's.

Potty training update: we made progress tonight, actually sat on the potty for a hot minute and "tried". It's a start.

The Perils of Church Ball

Tyler joined his church basketball team and this is the result. He came home last Wednesday night saying that he may have sprained his ankle and the next morning it was purple and blue. A little ice and a little heat therapy is doing the trick. This is how it looked 3 days ago. Pretty gross.

First Day of School

So, we finally had to break down and put Brody in daycare school. He's going to Kindercare and everyone there is very nice and absolutely loves him. He was a little anxious when I left him, but he got over it in just a few minutes.
We had a great morning though. He started the day showing me all of his new bugs and we had french toast and watched Nemo (I made sure to mention to him how Nemo was excited to go to school too).
This is his classroom and all the kids were laying down on their little cots getting ready for naptime. He was a little sad, but still managed to smile for a picture and I gave in and let him have his paci to help him relax. I'll keep everyone posted with all his little school adventures.
